The coast along the city of Lisbon is definitely worth exploring if you’re in Lisbon. The fairytale towns of Sintra and Cascais are a must visit. About 40 minutes drive from Lisbon, Sintra is a perfect day trip option.

Here we are! Again! This time with one of the most beautiful cities we have ever visited- Lisboa! A city you will fall in love with. No exaggeration there. We hear it all the time about Lisbon. Its magical, gorgeous, soaks you in no time but you obviously only experience this once you are there. Then you feel it was all true and that why did you wait so long to come here! A city bustling with mythical aura, neighborhoods filled with azulejo clad buildings, staggering views from the numerous miradouros and the trendy night life; there is so much character to Lisbon, just doesn’t let you down, in fact it surprises you more and more. The deeper you dig, the more interesting it gets and yet the more you feel at home. That is the charm of Lisbon.

This March we headed to the beautiful country of Portugal for 9 days. Each place is a special experience; from visiting Porto up north, to the sunny beaches in Algarve and finally the super gorgeous city of Lisbon. We landed in Lisbon on a sunny afternoon, rented a car from the airport and we were on our way to Porto. The next morning we set out to explore the charming city. Porto is known for all things right- beautiful churches, delicious food and of course the world famous port wine.
